Put your mouse over "Description" to get more details.* These automatics were designed by Blackie Collins to meet the many requests he receives for more slender models which can be carried easily and unobtrusively. They are thinner than most automatic folders but offer functional handles and blade length along with the structural integrity and appearance expected for a high quality folder. They are tough and good looking. They are made in the USA.

The handles are CNC machined from best quality aircraft aluminum with a hard anodized finish. The patented, proprietary texture on the handle surface is created by electrical discharge to give the best gripping surface along with a custom appearance. A thin blue line is inlayed in the side of each handle using the same reflective material which is used on the side of law enforcement vehicles.

Blackie's CIA Folding Letter Openers

Put your mouse over "Description" to get more details.* At the request of one of the nation's leading law enforcement supply catalogs, Blackie modified one of his existing assisted folder designs by using a glass filled nylon material which was strong enough to make a useful knife. He made the spring from beryllium cooper which has no magnetic signature. The letter opener meets a lot of needs but is mostly a novelty item that is fun to play with and does not pose a threat to the user while being handled carefully.
